I'm still in disbelief of what great service I got here! I went in on Monday morning with a front tire that would not stay inflated. My fear was that I was going to have to buy a whole new set of tires and spend hundreds of dollars. Or worse, that the mechanics would tell me I needed a bunch of stuff I didn't really need and up-charge me.
Discount Tire is great. I've been buying tires from them in the various sates I've lived in for the last 15 years. I pretty much don't go anywhere else. I do occasionally shop online for prices just for a sanity check.
I've been buying tires here for quite some time. They have an awesome crew that is always curteous and helpful. Every time I come in for tire service, the staff is quick to help and I don't have to wait too long for my car to be ready.
Eric was awesome. I was looking for 17" White wide spoke rims for my FJ Cruiser for a retro-look. Eric was able to locate 16" rims and explained the 265R16/75 tires and rims would have the same overall height as the original 265R17/70 set up. He ordered the rims and when they came in they did a fit test. I ended up needing a 1-1/4" spacer to clear the calipers but that made them look even better. The guys in the shop were somewhat puzzled why anyone would pick these rims but all agreed it looked awesome when done. Everyone was very helpful and courteous and I couldn't ask to be treated any better.
What a wonderful surprise when the young man at the front desk went out to my car with me and inspected the tire and told me they could probably patch and repair it so I would be safe and on the road again quickly. And they would do it for FREE! Wow! They were true to their word. They checked out my problem tire and all the other ones and assessed the damage. They then repaired it with NO CHARGE to me. I was told to come back in about 5-10K miles to get a new set of tired, but that I still had a good bit of life and tread left.
I worked with Eric at this store on my last visit, he was very patient with me while I changed my mind 10 times trying to look for the right wheel and tire combination.
Great customer service experience! I had a set of Pep Boys tires, had a flat & Pep Boys Wake Forest, NC location would not fix it. Brought it to Discount, and they fixed it NO CHARGE and I arrived 1 minute before closing!!! I just purchased a set of tires from them today, bye bye FOREVER Pep Boys...
Believe me when I say I will be back to get my full set of tires when the time comes. Thank you for great service and more importantly, honest service. I did not feel taken advantage of at all and I got wonderful customer service and was out of there and back on the road within 45 minutes. Thank you, Discount Tire Store!
