Cheeseburger was very tasty. The meat had a good flavor and texture and was juicy. Next time I'll try it without mayo to fully taste the meat. Didn't notice the signature butter of the burger because of too much condiment. Bun was a little soft causing bun failure. Cheese curds were average. Not a fan of the fries. The frozen custard is to die for! I'm hoping one will be built closer to home in the Durham area as I'd be a regular customer.
The food here is way above typical fast food. We ordered at the counter and the food was brought to our table. The service is fantastic. A girl named Genevieve helped us. She is a great reflection of her management team and was very helpful. She answered all our questions and made suggestions based on what we told her we liked. We will definitely be back.
The burger was greasy. Meat had a good taste but still they could've drained the burger. The coleslaw was a horror. In fact, I brought it back in exchange for fries which were very basic and bland tasting. The coleslaw was literally shredded cabbage with no ingredients. I believe they never even prepared it. The manager said somebody else prepared it today. Service was quick albeit it was 9:30 pm with not many guests. I will give them one more chance.
Nice experience. Very attentive staff that got our order to us readily and made sure that the table was cleared and drinks were refilled. Fast service and good selection of menu choices. Went with a group and all had a good time.
I'd really give it a 2 but being they are brand new I'll give them a chance to work out some of the kinks.
I had a coupon to buy one get one free so we had the fish baskets the fish was delicious I was too full to eat all the chips. We had their ice cream, or frozen yogurt I guess that's what they are calling it which was out of this world. It was the richest chocolate I have ever had and I am a chocolate freak. My friend had the flavor of the day with whipped cream and a cherry on top. We had a coupon for get one scoop free so all in all dinner and dessert was less than $9. I would say that was quite a deal. They have very nice tables outside and waitresses will bring your dinner to you I would recommend them especially for the ice cream which, by the way, is much less than any of the other ice cream parlors around and much better. Much much better.
