I purchased a used truck today and it only came with one key. Just so happens make a key locksmith was there to work on some cars. I asked if he could make me a few copies and he did. Then I asked if he could make a key to work with my other truck which 3 other key makers could not do. His 1st copy failed like the other guys did, so I was ready to give up again. He then takes a tool out and "measures" the lock from the inside, next he takes a few numbers down, then punches it into a key computer. Bam! New hey fits perfect! Wow. Its nice to see someone who knows what they are doing.
