With Christi out of the office, Kyle on her team stepped right in and delivered excellent service, professionalism, and expertise as I was adding my 16 year old to my policy in a very complicated situation. We recently moved to North Carolina and we needed an agent here. Our first mistake was choosing an agent's that was closest to our home. After setting up an appointment, we went in to meet with John. While we were in the office, we tried asking questions about differences in the policies between here and Chicago and why the point system is different. He skirted around the question because you can tell he didn't know. That should have been another sign to us. While we were in the office which has a lot of glass windows. We saw a woman walk by and asked him if that was the agent because we would like to meet her. He explained she was really busy. She passed again and couldn't even stick her head in to say Hi , knowing that we were new to her agency. We left and had some of our policies switched over from the other agent. We needed to get proof of insurance first before going to get our new licenses. He told us he would call us in a couple of days when they had everything ready. Well a week passed with no phone call, my husband left messages for John with no call back. Finally my husband sent an email which the agent got. She contacted my husband and said John was out due to sickness. My husband told her that we have been waiting and their office doesn't cover their work when they are out? We stopped into the office to pick up our proof and we saw the agent sitting in the office and she saw us but still didn't get up to introduce herself to us. The secretary got up and handed us the paperwork. After this we bought a new car and needed insurance. During this process, my husband explained that we had sold a car a couple of months ago and the policy was canceled. When John received the information from the other agency, he proceeded to reinstate the policy for the vehicle that was sold months ago after my husband spoke to him for the second time that this vehicle was sold. I received my monthly bill to find out that they were charging us for a car that has been sold for months. I contacted the agency and spoke to John. He stated he would fix it but it could take some time. I called back a couple of days later and asked to speak to John and the secretary asked for my name. I gave it to her and she stated, oh I know about this and said they are working on it and that she would call me in a couple of days. Never the less, I still haven't received a call back so I had to to call in and get confirmation. Long story short, do research before selecting an agent and make sure they know the business . We just didn't get the friendly feeling or knowledge here.
