Recently I lost a cousin and services were held in Wake Forest, NC. I live in Florida and could not attend the services. I wanted to send flowers with a special touch. I googled florists in Wake Forest, NC and selected Wake Forest Florist. Looking through their photos of arrangements, they had a beautiful selection with good prices. I was apprehensive in ordering online because you never know if your arrangement is going to be what you pay for if you are not going to be able to see them. I have been disappointed and embarrassed before with bad, skimpy arrangements that were costly. My cousin was a bird lover, so to make the arrangement special, I asked if a bird ornament could be added. I asked for a Cardinal or Blue Bird if possible. After the services a cousin sent me photos of the arrangement and said the flowers touched and blessed the family. The flowers were so beautiful and when I saw what they did....it brought tears to my eyes. They added not one but two bird ornaments, a Cardinal AND a Blue Jay. This tells me they are sensitive to your loss and will do whatever it takes to make sure what you order is special, above and beyond what you requested. I am so thankful I selected Wake Forest Florist and highly recommend them should you need a florist in that area.
Very poor service - ordered a wristlet for my son's winter formal (paid in advance) for pick up on Saturday before 2 pm. My husband and son went to pick it up only to find the store was closed!!!! Had to order from another florist immediately, who didn't ask for my credit card to make a wristlet in a hurry. Wake Forest Florist did NOT call to let us know they would be closed!! Beware, they aren't reliable.
This florist is the best I have ever experienced. I received a gorgeous arrangement for my birthday and the flowers stayed fresh for 3 weeks. Most other flowers barely last a week before dying.
The funeral sprays were beautiful. Staff was courteous and compassionate. Very pleased.
I would highly recommend this florist.
